Privacy Policy - Alenir Idle

1. Offline-First Architecture & Local On-Device Save Storage

Alenir Idle is designed from the ground up as an offline-capable RPG. By default, all character progress, inventory items, homestead upgrades, and user preferences are stored strictly locally on your device using standard Web Storage (localStorage) under the key alenir_idle_save. Exporting a save creates a local .aid (Alenir Idle Data) file or Base64 string under your direct control. You can play the entire game without creating an account or connecting to the internet.

2. Optional Google Sign-In & Cloud Sync (Firebase Authentication & Firestore)

To enable cross-device cloud synchronization and save recovery, you may optionally sign in with your Google account. When you connect, Google Firebase Authentication securely processes your basic profile information (Google User ID, email address, and display name) solely to authenticate and associate your encrypted Astral Vault. Game save payloads and character progress are synced to Google Cloud Firestore. Connecting an account is completely optional; we do not use your personal identifiers for third-party advertising, profiling, or tracking.

A random pseudonymous installation identifier is also generated in your browser or app storage when you link your game to an Astral Vault. It is stored alongside your linked vault record solely for account safety, spam prevention, and multi-account abuse detection. It is never linked to a personal identity, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared with third parties. Clearing local storage generates a new identifier.

3. Community & Multiplayer Features

If you choose to participate in online features (Hall of Fame leaderboards, World Boss cooperative raids, or Astral Tavern community chat), your chosen hero name, character level, class, combat power, and player-submitted messages are transmitted and displayed to other players. No personal real-world identities or email addresses are ever shared publicly.

4. Opt-In Rewarded Advertising (Google AdSense & Google AdMob)

Alenir Idle offers strictly optional, player-initiated rewarded ads so players can earn free Aetherium Crystals, Celestial Blessing buffs, or doubled offline rewards without spending money. There are no forced banner or auto-playing interstitial popups during gameplay.

Web (aleniridle.com): On web browsers, optional rewarded ads are served through Google AdSense (including the Google H5 Games Ads API). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve relevant ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings or AboutAds.info Choices.

Android App: On Android devices, rewarded video ads are powered by Google AdMob. When you choose to watch an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process pseudonymous device advertising identifiers, coarse IP location, and ad interaction metrics in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. Consent preferences may be adjusted anytime via the in-game Settings menu.

5. Account Unlinking, Data Deletion & User Control

You maintain full control over your data at all times:

Local Data: You may permanently erase all stored local progress immediately using the "Reset Game" button inside the in-game Settings menu, or by clearing application storage in your operating system settings.
Google Account Unlink: You may sign out or unlink your Google account anytime via the in-game Settings menu.
Cloud Data Deletion Request: To request complete deletion of any cloud vault records or leaderboard entries associated with your Google account or device, email developer support at primaybr@gmail.com. Requests are processed within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Alenir Idle does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. All gameplay systems remain fully accessible offline without requiring an account. If you believe a child has provided personal information via Google Sign-In without parental consent, please contact us to request prompt deletion.
